I tried several times this spring to put together a full workwear capsule but honestly as much as I tried I just couldn’t find enough pieces that all worked together. Instead I wanted to share with you HOW I put together a capsule so you can do it with your own closet with a few new pieces for the season.

The BIGGEST part is really understanding the colors of the season and how they work together. This Spring I checked out the Pantone Spring/ Summer 2022 colors because that’s the fabrics you will see in stores. This helps planning outfits, here are the color combos I loved.
Then I look in my closet for staple colors I already have like “perfectly pale” can double as khaki and Sudan Brown is typically a camel color you see in fall. The “new” colors that I knew I needed were grabbing some poinciana, daffodil, gossamer pink and basil.

As you can see I’m using many of the same pieces over and over and adding in pops of this seasons colors. As we are moving closer to summer also adding in the corals to the pinks and reds is really pretty. Plus for all the neutrals I feel like just pull whatever color to sub in for coco, Sudan brown or perfectly pale and you will still have a great cohesive outfit.
