Cheers friends!! St.Patrick’s Day is almost upon us and as the daughter of two full blown proud Irish parents this holiday is seriously one of my favorites. I remember being a little girl at a pub with blaring Danny Boy eating corned beef and cabbage. Every year my mom still calls me on St.Patricks Day to ask if I’ve had corned beef yet!
Now I’ll be honest having little kids I have fallen off the tradition of taking them to pubs on St. Patricks Day because once we moved to DFW I didn’t know of any near us. Although that does not keep me from ensuring that everyone in the family has their green on and we give a proper cheers to our Irish heritage.

This year with St. Patrick’s Day on a Tuesday (March 17th if you have not been keeping track) most celebrating will be low-key most likely with a beer in the backyard and some corned beef in my crock pot. The real celebration will come on March 22nd when I’m doing my first sprint triathlon in about 8 years.
So I’m planning outfits for casual drinking and racing all those calories off. Here are some of my picks for office attire, casual wear and if you are crazy like me some fun race day items.
