Well we have survived the Texas snow storm of 2021, I swear I thought this year was going to get easier, nope just hard different ways. The good thing that comes out of these events in life is new appreciation for things I’ve taken for granted, like WARM WEATHER (oh and consistent power).
Today I have a fun round up of a bunch of new arrivals from a couple of my favorite places and some new retailers I’m trying out! I figured many of you have been asking for vacation looks so sprinkled some of those in as well.
Since I have several from one of my favorite retailers Gibsonlook I wanted to mention that code RYANNE20 is working and takes 20% off your full order!
Fit Tips: Sweater size down if in-between, M // Jeans tts, 12P // flats size up 1/2 // flip flops tts
You all fell hard for the super cute cozy Camden Top this winter so Gibsonlook and Hi Sugarplum have updated it perfect for spring! With a shorter sleeve and gorgeous spring color combos this top can be worn so many ways. This fits identical as the long sleeve winter version so I’m in a M.
Since this is the time of year where we still get every other day of cold spells I also love this cozy top paired with the long cozy duster from Gibson and some booties for a bit warmer look.
I have to show you in more detail this new tote I picked up from Tuckernuck. I was looking for a lighter color tote for spring and summer that still had some structure and good amount of space for my laptop and this one is a WINNER!

The next new arrival that landed on my doorstep after our winter snowstorm just in time to say “brush off that snow and get ready for warmer weather” is this henley tank jumpsuit! I love that they design this with functional buttons, nice wide waistband and pockets. I’m in a L and the length is perfect and not too short or long.
Fit tips: Blouse size up for larger chest // Jeans tts 12P // Wedges size up 1/2
This one shoulder blouse is another update from a previous design that was released with the Glam collection. Although this spring version has been updated with a new lighter weight polyester fabric and tighter fit so if larger chested size up the medium was very tight.
The winter version was in a satin and the larger was VERY big so just know this one is running smaller.
Studded Wedges (size up 1/2)
Now I had to show you a close up of these wedges! If you loved last year’s sandal of the season, the studded wedge then check out her big sister. I love the wedge heel and same studded straps. Like the original I size up 1/2 for a good fit.
This Mary off the shoulder cozy top was my #1 last spring because it’s a lightweight cozy material and cute style can be worn casual or with jeans as we move into warmer weather (fingers crossed).
When I’m casual at home I’ll wear this with a wireless bra and show the strap on one side or if I want to get a bit fancier I’ll throw on this strapless bra and wear it more boatneck.
I *think* my favorite color of this cozy top is the new oatmeal ivory stripe. It pairs so well with white and neutrals but has that timeless classic color that I feel like I would wear in any season.
I paired it here with the new Steve Madden chain mules. While I’m still not 100% on loving a mules this pair is starting to grow on me. I like the tan suede color and classic chain.

Fit Tips: Tee size down if in-between, M // Jeans tts, 12 // flip flops tts // jacket tts, L
The Felicity V-Neck Tee from Gibsonlook is a soft stretchy jersey material with a good v-neck and longer shirttail hem. I received both the coral and white and found both colors to be SLIGHTLY sheer but are fine with a nude bra. This has that classic, soft, stretchy feel that comfy enough to lounge in but looks great as a casual outfit as well.
Fit Tips: Cami size down if in-between I’m in a L and it’s too oversized // jeans tts 12P
This outfit made me think immediately of vacation and man could I use one right about now! The combination of orange, navy and coral makes it cute on it’s own but also great layered under a sweater blazer or jacket until spring break time rolls around.
Fit Tips: Sweatshirt size down if in-between // jeans tts 12 short
Want the best of cozy and spring.. new Aerie sweatshirt! It’s a thicker waffle like texture and covers the bum! I thought this would be the same fabric as my beloved summer sweatshirt (called beach fleece the year prior) but it’s similar but a thicker fabric.
I love it paired with pretty much the only high rise jean I don’t hate. These dream jeans have just enough stretch plus a rise that tucks in the mama pooch but doesn’t suffocate me in the mid-section.
Fit Tips: Dress tts, L
This is one of the new retailers that I am trying out this season since I’ve seen so many gorgeous, classic high quality pieces I finally had to get my hands on one. When it arrived I was floored, the quality is amazing, the fit is cute yet classic and hello pockets.
It has a thicker, almost heavy woven fabric that flows and swing perfectly. Plus the shirt dress style is updated with more gathered fabric on the backside so it’s slightly tapered in the waist but has plenty of booty room.
Fit Tips: Pullover tts, L // Leggings size down if in-between, M short // Boots tts
The final new retailer I tried out this month brought me this AMAZING fleece top JUST IN TIME for our massive snow storm. Seriously over the 5 days that we were snowed in I wore this at least twice (and was sad I couldn’t wash it and wear it again!)
Now if you are not familiar with Dudley Stephens you might have a little sticker shock when you first pull up their turtlenecks BUT they are a woman owned, US based company that uses innovative recycled fabrics that keep harmful plastics out of landfills and oceans, and calibrates production to reduce waste. So while you are paying more it’s for a good reason.
I will warn you also these have such a cult following that they do CONSTANTLY sell out! It took me several tries to snag this camel color in the green point (aka mid length) but now that I have this one I totally want to try the longer length in the Terry fleece too!
