While the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has some great prices sometimes it’s fun every year for me to hunt and see if I can find some of the popular styles for even less! That way if you are not a card holder or maybe just not willing to pay a ton for fall clothes in the dead heat of summer you have some more options! Here is what I found for 2022:
Fit Tips: NYDJ blouse TTS, L // Wit and wisdom trousers, 12 (I did not like the fit of the 12 petite) // Steve Madden mules size up 1/2 size
These Steve Madden mules are growing on me and this year I do like the plastic lightweight chain but if you are just wanting the look I would go with the darker version on Amazon the light colored ones are a little pink/ off color to me.
Ok I’ll be honest I probably spend the MOST on shoes during the NSALE. Even before my husband left for work this morning he said “look for some shoes for me!” Now if $90 booties are not in your budget there are TONS of look alike out there. Do I think the quality is the same, NO but if you want just the look then here is an option for the popular Vince Camuto style. Now I bypassed this style all together and my must have bootie this season was are these BP Booties that are $54.99 so less than even the Amazon version.
Fit tips: true to size
If you have been around awhile you know I LOVE these sneakers and was shocked that this year’s NSALE version is running about 1/2 size large. If you are looking for an affordable option you can grab some colors as low as $80 like this fun hot pink just know you need to size up 1/2 in those.
While I do feel like you get your money’s worth when paying a bit more for shoes I know that tall boots are not something that I wear all the time. This Amazon version has a similar low heel look for about half the cost.
Fit Tips: Cardigan tts, L
Fit Tips: Cardigan tts, L // Tank size down, M // Joggers tts, L
Now I honestly believe nothing compares to the Barefoot Dreams cardigans BUT if you are just looking for a similar shape and fuzzy feel this is a great low price option. The Amazon version is more “fuzzy” and the BFD is more soft. I wear a Large in the BFD and would order the same in the Amazon.
Fit Tips: true to size, L
I’ve had a few people ask about the True & Co bras at Nordstrom (and Amazon) vs the style at Target. I own both. The style sold by Nordstrom/ Amazon is a convertible style and has more triangle cups. I find the bra to be *slightly* thicker so I’ve has less stretch out from these. Thats one of the reasons I STOCK up on the ones during the NSALE, I like the style and quality better but if you don’t want to wait here is a look for less!
I have both of these styles and while the Zella feels more like a lightweight t-shirt the Amazon feels more like a thicker stretchy Vuori fabric. Both have thumb holes and soft moisture wicking fabric. I wear a Large in both.
100% truth I’ve owned both these sets and after a few washes I mixed them up so often I would have to look at the tag to know the difference. Obviously the NSALE style has a more refined look but if you just want “soft” grab the Target ones! I wear a L in both sets.
Fit tips: NSale Turtle neck top tts, L
I know that I am loving this longer tunic style and come fall I want all the rust colors!! I found this sweater in the NSALE but also picked up the Amazon version to see how they compare in weight and style.
Fit Tip: Dress tts, L (does run a bit short) // Last season booties by same brand tts
While this dress was super cute it was also PRETTY short so I went hunting for an option that would be a little less expensive but still give me the same look. The Amazon version is not lined which is what cuts down on costs but slightly longer so a good option if you are looking for a bit more length.
I’ve heard a lot of people compare the Zella joggers to Vuori and while they are CLOSE I would say the fit and feel is closer to the Amazon tech stretch jogger. Both have a bit higher rise than Vuori but soft, stretchy light weight fabric. I wear a Large in both.
When it comes to trends sometimes I don’t want to pay a ton for them so while I know the “initial” necklace is popular the look for less is very similar. I’ve seen both in person and the biggest difference is the chain. The Amazon has a thicker, longer chain while the Nordstrom version has a more dainty chain that sits mid neck.
I had hard thought about buying this Michele Apple Watch band but the $195 price tag is STEEP! Good thing Amazon came to the rescue! I bought the Amazon version last year and while after awhile the metal got a little funky it was worth the under $20 price!
While I truly believe that you typically pay for quality of clothing there are a lot of great options out there to give you a similar look while saving some money! Let me know in the comments if you snagged any of these looks for less.
