It’s funny when I mentioned that I would be moving to Colorado many people warned me that it’s much more casual than Texas. It kind made me laugh because as much as I much as I show dresses and workwear online, most of the time you will find me in some sort of comfy athleisure.
Since I started working from home I got more and more picky on the brands that fit me the best, have good quality and look presentable enough to roll up to the school in. We are also in that season where some of you are going to start to have some cooler mornings but then still warm afternoons. Today I’m rounding up some good options for this transitional season.

Recently I’ve been trying to get back on my Peloton bike but have had a tough time finding bike shorts that don’t roll and aren’t too short. I was pleasantly surprised by these from Jockey with large side pockets and 9″ inseam.
The tee is more of an athletic feel and a good length for workouts. Typically though after a workout I would want to wear something that covers the booty with bike shorts. A few months ago I tried one of their lightweight sweatshirts and I’ve been HOOKED! I’m now on my 3rd color and love them all.

I also snagged the brass color but it is a bit more golden in person that what is shown online and I love that! Recently they have been on sale for $19.99 (reg $40).

When it comes to leggings my go-to are the Athleta Salutation Stash Pocket Capris. I love the buttery soft feel, big side pockets and wide waistband that doesn’t dig or roll. I love these so much I think I have close to 8 pairs of them!!
Fit Tips: Tank size down if in-between, L // Skirt tts, L
I’m also a big fan of the Farallon style at Athleta which sort of like a stretchy jegging denim. I love that the thickness helps hide Andy lumps and bumps but the organic cotton is more breathable than other athletic materials. I’ve had several pairs of shorts and joggers so this summer I snagged this skirt and love it a ton too! As the weather cools down I just throw a denim jacket over this and have a cute yet casual outfit for running errands.

When it comes to tops I love the train and ultimate styles. They are lightweight, moisture wicking and look good from workout to carline. The Scoop tank is the navy style an I’m wearing the train tank in black. I also have several of the train tees and those fit amazing as well.

Of my most worn athleisure in the summer it’s HANDS DOWN the Mesh 4″ Shorts. I love the fit of these since they are more of a mid-rise with a thick stretchy waistband, good inseam length and light weight moisture-wicking material.

Now I also have some affordable favorites and that includes the Core 10 tanks! While they can get low stock they come in a ton of colors so I just click around until I find my size/ color combo. I feel most comfortable if wearing bike shorts to have a longer top like this one that covers the top of the rear.
These bike shorts are another good find but are a 5″ inseam for those of you wanting a bit shorter look.

When it comes to “dupes” the Tech Stretch style on Amazon is the closest I’ve found to the the soft, stretchy material of the Vuori Joggers. Honestly I like the fit of the Amazon tanks BETTER than Vuori’s style that runs tighter in the midsection.

These leggings are also a great replacement for the Lulu Align legging. They have that same buttery soft feel but with side pockets and fun prints at about half the price. I prefer the capri length (wearing here) because the full length are a little long on me.
Fit Tips: Jacket tts, L // Tee tts, L // Leggings tts but run long on me, L
These are the full length leggings but tucked up about 2 inches. I also have on the Tech Stretch t-shirt with a NEW Core 10 cropped jacket. Honestly I love the hood, popped collar and color of this sweatshirt. While I feel like I can pop it on over anything I wear it most with joggers.
Fit Tips: Dress tts, L // Sneaker size up 1/2
Now the final Amazon piece is this activewear dress. This summer the activewear dress has been so popular but it’s hard to find one with a built-in bra along with good under shorts. My only complaint about this one is the shorts don’t have grippers so they can ride up a bit.
Fit Tips: jumpsuit tts, L
Another one piece style I love it a good jumpsuit. I have two of the Lux Vuori jumpsuits and love wearing them while I’m lounging around the house. This one though is the first that I’ve found with a built-in bra!! The bad news though is that so many people have loved this style it keeps going in a out of stock.

When it comes to athleisure tees the Vuori Feather Tee has got to be my favorite! I love the longer sleeve, length and boxy fit. It doesn’t cling and the fabric is super soft without being too thin. I just found out that they released a LONG SLEEVE version for fall and I’m snagging some colors now!
For joggers hands down I’m a performance jogger FAN! I have close to 10 pairs of these super soft joggers. I know they are pricey so when I see sale colors I snag them because other than that they rarely go on sale. They have a stretch and moisture wicking property that makes them the BEST in my books.
Fit Tips: Tank tts, L // Shorts size up if in-between, L // Vegas size down if in-between
These Target shorts I got in a green color earlier this summer and fell in love with them. While the orange large is running a bit tighter they are still a great mid-rise with lightweight stretchy, athletic material. One drawback is that the pockets are not seamed so if you have a heavy phone it can show below the hem of the short so I bring a bag.

Since I loved the All in Motion Shorts so much I decided to try their similar joggers and while I like them they do fit a bit different. They are slightly higher waisted and run long on me. After I tried these I went back and ordered this style with a little more true “jogger fit” and that come in a short length which I think will look great with this outfit.
