The last few years we have seen the HUGE trend of boo baskets. Now if you are saying what the heck is a boo basket – it’s basically a Halloween themed gift package, similar to an Easter basket but for October. Typically filled with treats, toys, books, or cozy items. It shot in popularity when people would leave on friend’s doorsteps anonymously with a tag saying “You’ve Been Boo’d!” to spread seasonal cheer.
This has morphed into a general seasonal basket for friends, kids and teachers as a welcoming to the fall season. This year I’m seeing boo basket ideas EVERYWHERE so I put together some with all the items I’m loving this year!
THE STUFF
One of the reasons I love a boo basket is we are not a huge candy family – or at least I try and keep it mostly out of the house so making baskets filled with fun gifts my kids will actually use is so much better. There are such fun seasonal beauty gifts but I also found some things for the boys and mom friends too! Now these are also great as gifts for those older kiddos away at college or young adults to say hey you may not trick or treat anymore but mama loves you!

THE BASKETS
Since Boo Baskets have become so popular this year we are seeing even more basket options! This year I wanted to make a few for my daughter’s dance team so the boo bags were such a great find since I can get 4 in a pack. Also this year Target dropped similar woven cat and pumpkin baskets (this pic is from last year).
