I can’t believe we are here again and now I have an official middle schooler! If you have been around a bit you heard that last year we made a BIG move in the middle of the school year from Texas to Colorado. The adjustment was ROUGH to say the least. The schools here are very different!! My kids now both go to the same school that ranges from Pre-K to 8th grade. While I love having them at the same place my daughter who left lockers, changing classes and a 5th & 6th grade school of 900 students to now going to the same place as her little brother didn’t go over well right away.
Luckily she is now in the “middle school” area and back to her loved lockers. Since I’m buying for some very different ages I figured I would share a bunch of my favorites we have found along the way.

My daughter still is loving the more casual athletic outfits and while some of her friends are wearing adult sizes but she is still needing pretty slim sizing but without the “kid” look. She has gotten hooked on Lululemon and the smallest sizes fit her slender built and so much of it is soft and comfy! She still loves her Athleta Girl and found some cute styles from Lands End that have a good athletic fit while not being as expensive as many of the “athletic” stores.

When it comes to more dressy options we have had great luck at Evsie and Abercrombie Kids for jumpsuits, dresses and good “picture day” clothing.
Now for my little man I just ask that his t-shirts and pants are hole and stain free, so as you can guess we had to replace some! He looks great in this set from Lands End but he also fits loves his Under Armour Primary, Gap and Abercrombie Kids clothing.

He tends to be a little tougher on backpacks and loves ones with lots of pockets so this style from Lands End is a great size and fit for him.
Although I will be sad to not have my babies around all day once school starts it also means I can float in my pool by myself!! YAASSS!!!
