It’s that time of the year where the air is getting cooler, the pumpkin patches are popping up and something in my mom brain goes OH SHOOT Halloween costumes!!! When I was growing up my mom would take me to the fabric store to pick out my costume (aka she sewed it all from pattern). When I was early in my marriage I took a few sewing classes so I would know how to work a machine, do minor alterations and in the back of my mind eventually make all my kid’s costumes.
I then had children and thought what the heck was I thinking?! Ok ok I have made a few of them from pj mask deals to dinosaur tails I’ve done some homemade outfits but as the kids have gotten older I said, I’m out!
Each year I’ve thought ok the easier the better and really nothing gets much easier than a good ol’ Amazon purchase so I’ve rounded up a bunch of costume ideas all you can get from Amazon.

As much as we all loved Disney Rise of the Resistance ride I couldn’t convince anyone in the family to go with the Star Wars theme! So many options out there but these little girl dresses were adorable and the astronaut jumpsuit totally can double for Poe’s flight suit.

The year before that my kids were young enough that PJ Masks was on repeat and a perfect family costume! While I made my Luna girl outfit it would have been soo much easier with this tee and a good wig! My husband was night ninja and when we had the ice storm last year was like um why are there still blue eyebrows on my ski mask?! oops!

I can’t believe I almost forgot Bridgerton, seeing that season 2 was such a let down compared to season 1 so let’s just remember the glory days of Daphne and the Duke.
While I know there are a TON of other popular themes this year like Stranger Things and Clueless my kids are too young to care about those things so we stick to the PG rated themes! This year I think we are going to have a ballerina and a Wild Kratz so once again dashed my family themed dreams….
