Amazon Finds: November 2020

Happy Monday! I would love to say that I was able to stay on my routine of monthly Amazon posts but October got crazy so here we are on the 2nd with an early month post! Last month we had Amazon prime days which had some great deals and finds so I’ll be adding all those here so you can find them easier.

If you are looking for a ton of great outfits check back on the Amazon page for all my previous blog posts with items from Amazon or check out my Amazon storefront where I post outfit pics.

Sizing info: I am 5’5 and size 12/ L bottom and 36DD/ M/ 10 top. “tts” means true to size based on the given sizing chart, in Amazon I tend to size up if in-between.

Daily Ritual Rib Long-Sleeve Crewneck Draped Dress | Sam Edelman Tiger Pumps 40% off

Fit Tips: Dress tts, L // Pumps, tts

I love this dress because of the ribbed fabric and stretchy feel. It’s not too long/ short and has some great tummy hiding ruching. It’s comfortable enough to wear for long meetings or family gatherings at home. I do wear shape wear under this one and these are my favorite.

Lark & Ro Matte Jersey Twist Front Dress | Brandee Knee High Heeled Fashion Boots

Fit Tips: Dress tts, L // Boots tts

This dress quickly became the number one seller of prime days and then the entire month because of the flattering fit, tons of prints and colors and GREAT price. I like the 3/4 sleeve so during holidays it’s not getting in the way and even my husband said “wow that’s a really nice dress!” Little does he know how affordable as well!

Women’s Short Sleeve Scoopneck A-line Dress | Similar Booties | Jacket

Fit Tips: Dress tts, L // Booties size up 1/2 // Jacket size down if in-between, M

This fun leopard print dress is a great throw on yet still be comfy option. It’s a thinner jersey fabric so not going to keep you warm but I added my Moto Jacket from A&F to dress it up a bit. This is shorter than other dresses and hits above my knee.

Turtleneck Wool Long Pullover Sweater Dress

Fit Tips: This dress felt horrible on me and some said sizing down would help, I’m in a L

Yeah this is a dress, I threw it on and snapped a pic because honestly I HATED IT! I though the pockets hit right at ny hips adding bulk and it really wasn’t super soft. I didn’t even bother taking another “styled” pic because it was a FAIL!! Now others have jumped to it’s defense and said sizing down helps but at this point it was a no go for me.

Waffle Knit Tops Crew Neck Oversized Sweater Pullover (B-Black) | Jeans | Coin Necklace | Similar Booties

Fit Tips: Top size up if in-between, L // Jeans size down 1 full size, 10

This Waffle Top was super deceiving, I thought it was an off the shoulder style (and I doubled checked a few times which I ordered) and yup shows off the shoulder but it doesn’t do that on me. That’s fine because it’s super cute the way that is is but has a slight open weave so I would add a black cami under just for some extra layering.

These jeans while at Nordstrom does have a sister style on Amazon with the same ab-solution technology and are a fun change up from my normal skinny jean. The wit & wisdom size down but Democracy seems to run smaller so stay tts.

Turtleneck Oversized Chunky Knit Pullover | Jeans | Bag Strap | Similar Sneaker

Fit Tips: Size up if in-between on sweater, L // Jeans tts, 12 // Sneakers tts

If you have been around a bit you know my love for green and this mock neck sweater is a fun fall option. I like the thicker chunky style and it’s shorter but not too short. Easy to wear with jeans and sneakers and this cute Amazon bag strap for only $10!

Lark & Ro Women’s Balloon Sleeve Sweater | Kell Parker Chain Mule

Fit Tips: Size down if in-between, M // Mules size up 1/2

Now I liked the ballon sleeve style of this sweater but the color was BLECH!! I am in a medium which also felt a little tight around the mid section and was on the shorter end. I still have hopes with a new color and maybe sizing up but this one went back.

The mules though are a VERY similar style to a popular Steve Madden pair and since I’m not a huge mules fan I thought I would try these. See below for my full thoughts.

Long Sleeve Bateau Neck Sweater | Spanx Jeggings | Boots

Fit Tips: Sweater size down if in-between, M // Spanx Jeggings tts, L // Boots size up 1/2

This sweater was a SLAM DUNK in my books. I love the color, it has a my luxe silky feel and with the tighter bottom and boatneck it looks elegant with jeans or a skirt. I’m in a medium but if you want a less fitted look then size up if in-between.

Women’s Polar Fleece Lined Sherpa Full-Zip Jacket | CRZ Yoga Crop Leggings

Fit Tips: Sherpa size up fo in-between, L // Yoga Crop size down if in-between, M

Looking for a jacket that is cozy, warm but not too warm?! This Amazon one is perfect! I like the full zip and even with a larger chest the large was a good size without being too boxy. It hits right in the middle of my hips so long enough but does not cover the bum if you are looking for that.

Amazon Essentials Lightweight Water-Resistant Puffer Vest

Fit Tips: size up, in a M which does not zip

I was on the hunt for some more vest this season (yeah yeah I know I already have like 100) so I grabbed this lightweight puffer vest because I loved the color but OMG it does run small in the chest so size up if you are larger chested! See how that try on session went…

Zipper not moving past here!

Lightweight Zip Quilted Vest | Target Tee | Dream Jeans

Fit Tips: vest tts, M // Tee size up, L // Jeans tts 12 short

Now I also ordered this lightweight suited vest and it was a much better fit! I also loved that it has more of a quilted look versus too much puff in the puffer best great for a light layer in the fall. I added a Target Tee and jeans for a typical mom on the go look for me.

Women’s Stretch Cotton Knit Twill Zip Pocket Jogger Pant

True to size, L have a very similar fit and feel to Athleta Farallon pant

I was looking for some affordable options to my Athleta favorites and while I’m still on the hint for a few styles these Twill joggers are pretty close to the Farallon jogger. They have a thicker twill feel with some stretch (not as much as the Athleta) and a bit higher rise. The pockets zip and come in a very similar green color (but no camo).

Kell Parker Chain Mule

Since I’m not a big fan of mules I wasn’t spending $100 on the Steve Madden versions of these flats. These took AWHILE to arrive but the look and feel is decent. They are definitely not as soft of faux suede and will take some breaking in but for less than half they are a great affordable option.

Herringbone Mesh Ballet Flats Casual Slip On Shoes

These flats are the newest style from the Amazon seller that bought us the leopard print flat. I have been talking with her about styles that would resonate with you and these are a big WIN! They feel a lot like Rothys but have more room in the toe box than the points. Fit true to size up size up if in-between.

Jessica Simpson Faux Fur House Slipper

These fuzzy slippers are too comfy and cute! My daughter loved them so much she basically stole them for a day and walked around the house with slippers twice her size! The pink has a bit of sparkle in it as well.

isotoner Women’s Victoria Ballerina Slipper Ballet Flat

I love my foldable isotoner slippers but these have a more luxe feel with velvet and make a great gift or stocking stuffer! Run slightly large so size down if in-between.

Fuzzy Red Flats

Ok while these are NOT my jam several of you made a really good point! If you are looking for a Cindy Lou or elf look this holiday season these are PEFECT! For every day outfits I’m a hard pass. Fit true to size but size down if in-between.

Yeti Dog Bowl

I’ve been looking for a water bowl to keep in my office for Bailey and LOVED this one with a weighted bottom and fun colors. Plus great for summer keeping water cold.
