I can’t believe the summer is flying by!! As we have started talking about what you are all shopping for I’ve been hearing a TON of workwear!! I have to go back to the office and have nothing to wear! Plus if you are anything like me clothes are still fitting a little differently than they were back in March 2020 so picking up some affordable options is key.
This month I’m doing my blog post of Amazon Fashion Finds first and then on Friday join me for my Amazon LIVE where you can see them all on. The great part of these videos is they save so you can go back anytime and check out how it looks moving around.
I know this format is still a little new so I wanted to address a things, first NO you do not have to catch these videos live. Really the only function of being live with me is the ability to ask questions in real time. Immediately after the end of the video it saves to my Amazon live Channel where you can replay any videos I have done.
The best way to “find” an item I am talking about is click the “watch now” button then scroll the items beneath the video. This works best on a phone or computer it is not compatible with iPads currently.
Let’s chat now about which items this month were FINDS (see the video later this week for the horrible fails and all my faces!)
Sizing info: I am 5’5 and size 12/ L bottom and 36DD/ M/ 10 top. “tts” means true to size based on the given sizing chart, in Amazon I tend to size up if in-between.
Fit Tips: Blouse tts, L // Pants size down these run large, need 10 // pumps tts
I am loving the color and fit of this tunic blouse! It is pretty long so for a work look I prefer it tucked in but it is long enough to wear with leggings and cover the booty. It has short sleeves and a cute split neck with 15 colors available. The Trouser pants are some of the best I’ve found on Amazon from Lark & Ro. These have a classic straight leg style AND the run big so I love sizing down!
These Liverpool pull-on jeans are great for teachers and those of you look for a classic jean without any distressing that will also keep you comfy if you are on the move. These run a little bit long so they are tucked up, I would need to take about 2 inches off the length.
Fit Tips: Blouse runs large size down if in-between, L // Jeans tts, 12 but run long these have a 30″ inseam
I loved the color of this blouse and though it would be another great option for jean Friday or dressed up with work pants. It is very flowy and I would size down if in-between. This comes in a ton of colors and even long sleeve options.
Fit Tips: Pants tts, 12 but are a bit long
I wanted to show again how this blouse can be added to some cute trouser pants and make it a work outfit. These Liverpool Trouser pants while on the more pricey side are amazing! Some of the only work pants I’ve found that are a good thicker ponte fabric, real waistband and stretchy! These are mid-rise and slightly long I have cuffed them up about 2 inches for an ankle look.
Fit Tips: Blazer tts, L // Blouse tts, L // Trouser pants tts, 12
I tried out another brand of split neck blouses because I loved this bright red color! This style runs pretty long as well (but not as long as the green) and a little tighter across the chest. The short sleeve is great for summer and into early fall but love the 3/4 roll tab option as well. Paired with my go-to blazer it’s a classic work look that is still lightweight and comfortable.
Little more detail on the sleeve length, somehow I forgot to take a picture of the length but check out the video to see it untucked.
Fit Tips: Blouse size up, XL // Skirt size up, XL
This blouse said that it runs small and I’m so glad that I grabbed it in an XL because it’s perfect in this size. It is shorter in length than the previous style blouses (see it untucked in the video) but is a bit thinner. I like the textured chiffon material and tulip cap sleeve.
I’ve also been on the hunt for a good pencil skirt on Amazon. Many are too thin and unflattering but this one I kinda like! It has ruching in it so the bunching is intentional, while it is a thinner stretchy material it’s not too thin. Paired with a blazer this is a classic professional look.
Fit Tips: Blouse tts, L // Wide Leg Crop pants size up, XL
I am so excited I found this cute fall print blouse!! It has the prefect color of rust that can be paired with some dress pants for work or dressed down for a fall football game! It has a tulip cap sleeve and rounded neck with pleating, the fit overall is fantastic and slightly thicker than the last one.
I have it paired with these wide leg crop pants I first shoed in my Spring Amazon workwear capsule, but back then I got a large and they were too tight in the waist. I traded them in for these in an XL and now I’m in love! It’s a fun mix up from a traditional pant leg and has tons of stretch.
Fit Tips: Blouse tts, L // Cardigan tts, L // Jeans tts, 12 // Flats tts
Had to show you how cute this blouse will be with a chunky cardigan and jeans as the weather gets colder!
