It’s finally cooled down here for a hot minute and I realized holy cow it’s almost October and I still have a red, white and blue wreath on the front door.. doh! All my amazing blogger friends pulled out their fall decor weeks ago and I’m totally behind the ball! So this weekend I think we will be on the hunt for all things Halloween and fall. I love this outfit because here in Texas it just got cool enough for long sleeves but a jacket is a little overboard by mid-day.
This Caslon top has a tiered peplum bottom that gives it a little flare and flows away from the body. It is true to size and I have in a medium. At $39 I’m grabbing a few more colors because it will be a staple for the new few months.
I paired it with my favorite Itty Bitty bootcut jeans from Wit & Wisdom $68. If you have not tried this brand they have a waist slimming feature in the waistband that sucks you in but they are still super comfortable. Size down a complete size if you are going with the regular length, I did have to get these hemmed just a bit so they were not too long with my boots. My pair are from last year but they just came out with a new darker wash that will go great with fall tops.
When I was at Magnolia I was inspired by all things fall so of course I had to wear my favorite camel colored boots. These booties are my go-to for a ton of fall outfits so when I went looking for a current pair I was shocked that there are not a ton out there right now. I have linked a few that are close but I will keep my eye out for more!
The final piece to my fall inspired outfit is the Leith Crossbody Bag $69. It’s a great size to fit not only your essentials but a few kid items that all moms end up having to tote around! I love that it gives a fun punch of color to the outfit but keeps my hands free for picking herbs or pumpkins.. you know what ever the day brings.
