MY SIZING
I am typically a 10/M/ 36DD in Gibson tops and L/12 in Gibson bottoms. I am 5’5 and in-between a petite and regular on length in most pants and skirts depending on fit. I did not receive all pieces in the collection so I will be basing my other sizing recommendations off of previous purchases and online guides. This collection is running pretty true to size when in doubt size down.
- Victoria Wide Leg Pant size down this is running large size down I’m in a L but need a LP or medium // Regular inseam 31″ (small), Petite Inseam 29 3/4″ (petite small)
- Kensington Satin Skirt true to size, this sits on your natural waist (aka higher) I wear L
- Camden Gathered Sleeve Crewneck Pullover size down if in-between I am in a L in the pink/ red stripe and medium in the black / white stripe I prefer the more fitted of the two.
- Whitney Satin Surplice Wrap Top size up for larger chest, L and this has a snap but does need to also be pinned to stay shut.
- Sloan Mesh Swiss Dot Party Skirt true to size, L stretchy waistband

Every year we host Thanksgiving at our house and I’m the chef! That means I want to look nice while cooking but I also need to be comfortable and stay cool! In years past we have had 60 degree and 80 degree weather so I love this Chelsea Cozy Gathered Cap Sleeve Top because of the cap sleeve doesn’t get in the way with my hands deep in turkey.
Once it’s go time throwing on some cute heels and this stretchy velvet blazer makes the outfit feel a bit more fancy. Then after dinner I can throw on the Oxford Drawstring Jogger and get ready for some massive online shopping!

Recently I found out that our beloved holiday tradition of seeing the Nutcracker was a no go this year. We have been doing this nearly every year since my husband and I started dating and every year with the kids. So instead of crying in my sugarplums I went out to find alternatives.
I found that the St. Louis Ballet will be performing this year and STREAMING performances. That way we can still get dressed up, make it something special for the kids and watch it from home. Now I will most likely switch out these pumps and clutch for slippers and some popcorn or even these beautiful custom cookies!
This skirt has a contrasting elastic waistband that has some great stretch and fully lined with layers of chiffon and mesh make it feel pretty and ballerina like!

Like many of you we have family and friends spread out all over the country. Unfortunately due to my mother’s age she will not be traveling to visit us over the holidays. This year we will be doing some video chats and typically that means the kids are crawling all over me while we try and get it all set up!
Camden Gathered Sleeve Crewneck Pullover is so incredibly soft it is similar to the Gibsonlook cozy line but has a touch of luxury that almost feels like cashmere. It stays cool because it’s not too thick but also soft and cozy enough to be in all day. The shoulders have a bit of a gather but not too puffy perfect for that chic, polished look. This top comes in 6 colors and I swear I want all of them!

Smack dab in the holiday season lands our anniversary! This year my husband and I will be married for 13 years. Over these past 8 months like many couples it’s been challenging at times but also a wonderful time for us to bond as a couple and family. Needless to say I don’t miss an opportunity to get dressed up, put on a mask and have a nice dinner. Luckily the Gibson team thought of that and is offering a set of 3 masks that coordinates with the collection!
The Victoria Wide Leg Pant is a great option for dinner because it has a back elastic and front flat satin waistband so comfort and pretty. This pant like last year is running generous! I am in a large and had to clip about 2 inches in the back to have it stay so size down. This is also running long so check the size guide above on inseam and length.

So basically this outfit is just like when I call my mom BUT I had to show you how adorable the pink and red stripe pullover looks with some of the Boden items I found for the kids! I love that the pink and reds coordinate and it will be perfect outfits while we bake and decorate over the holiday season.
Boden has run slightly big on my lower weight kids so if in-between size down on kid items. Both the bottoms come from Primary.com where I get a lot of their solid color staples. Basically my son lives in their jogger pants all winter!

I had hoped to grab the Charlotte Sleeveless Ruffled V-Neck Top to coordinate with this skirt but alas it did not come in time so make sure that you are ordering early for holiday events! This skirt is so perfect for that “get a little fancy” event whether it’s family pictures around the tree or dressing up to sit down for holiday dinners this just brings festive fun.
Cassie loves doing a skirt that sits high on the natural waist and therefore it’s sized as such. This is fitted and does not have any give to it so know that if you are thicker in the middle or prefer to wear this a bit lower on the waist then size up. Other than that it’s running pretty true to size.
New Year’s Countdown

I’m not sure about you but I’ve never been a big NYE person but this year I’m going to be EXCITED to see 2020 head out the door! While we still won’t be going out this puff sleeve wrap top has just enough festive fun to look cute but still feel comfy with a cute pair of jeans.
IMPORTANT note if you are larger chested this snap does pop open, you will need an extra safety pin to keep it closed. With the side tie and button it has a great custom fit around the mid section so helping to camouflage that extra cookie or two I’ll be having this holiday season.

Man oh man I’m ready to relax as well this holiday season. With less “events” we have to go to and after all the stress of the past 8 months I just want to have a ton of Elf and Noel marathons and snuggle up with my kids and husband. This cozy jogger and hoodie set is PERFECTION!
It has a cozy ribbed feel but softer than a bit more luxurious than some of the other Gibson cozy pieces. I love that the joggers have a flat front waistband and are not too tight! The pants and top are running on the generous side so sized down if in-between.
