January Top 5

Happy Friday and Happy February sorry this post is a little later than normal but last night I crashed at 8pm! Since the month has come to a close I wanted to share with you your Top items from January and some awesome sales going on this weekend. First let’s start with the top 5, these are the top selling items that The Recruiter Mom Tribe bought in January.

I almost hate even mentioning these because they are SO GOOD but within a few days of posting them larger sizes already started selling out!! I had waited about 3 weeks for them to be restocked before I even got a chance to buy them and I already wear them ALL THE TIME that I’m sad (and a little annoyed) that I can’t get a 2nd pair. What makes these a dream? Well they are the perfect super stretchy jegging, have a good mid rise and you can choose your length so the short is a perfect ankle length for me with booties or converse. Although I sized up in these (because I almost always do that in AE jeans they are more true to size than other styles because of the amount of stretch) I grab the short length at 5’5 it’s perfect. I’m in the lighter wash but they do also have a dark wash and high waist if that’s your jam!

Let me just say getting into a bathing suit, on the internet, in January is not exactly what I thought I would be doing with my life a year ago but I did it because I love you all so much and this suit was REALLY good! Another Amazon find and it has a cute mesh cutout in the front, good ruching around the belly and not too cheeky in the back not to mention it’s under $25. It has built in cups so if you are larger chested it keeps the girls right in place. My friend and neighbor grabbed this and said I think so many of us have this suit we might all be matching at the pool! With eight colors there are a lot to choose from, I’m in the wine. Size up in this though it does run small, I’m in a large which the size guide calls a 12/14 but it fits!

Now we all fell hard for these early in the month when I was going on my search for the best workout leggings. These are super soft, good capri/ ankle length and have a side pocket. What pushed them into a top spot is I went and did a warm yoga class and these suckers did not show any wetness, hallelujah! If you are a runner or like a compression feeling pants these are not great for that, these are more light workout, yoga, running around feeling leggings. For my favorite compression/ running I found Zyia’s Light and Tight Capris to be the best. These are also off Amazon… I’m feeling a trend here 🙂 and are also under $25. I grabbed these in a large (size up) but I would say go with your true size.

Before the new Gibson x Hi Sugarplum collection hit the stores I noticed a ton of racerback styles and I don’t know about you but I don’t love strapless bras. I hunted down my favorite no wire feel like you are wearing nothing brand and saw that they are making a new style with a lace racerback SCORE! Apparently all of you were on the hunt for this style as well because it was the #1 seller in January! Hopefully we will see warmer weather soon and be able to sport our sexy shoulders.
