Happy Post Thanksgiving! I hope that you are enjoying some downtime with friends and family. Maybe putting up all that holiday decor you all said you were waiting until Thanksgiving to do. Today I wanted to share my thanks for several small business partners that I have had the honor to work with this year.
This blog started 3.5 years ago as a side hobby after losing my corporate career identity. I honestly was a little lost but found so much joy in sharing the things that I love and decided “ok I’m going to go for it and do this.” I know what it’s like to start with 0 customers and feel gratitude for every single person that comes my way.
Today I wanted to highlight the women-owned small businesses that I love. Most are moms that have taken an idea and built a businesses. The majority of them have grown their businesses to now employ others and y’all they needed a moment to shine.
Many of you might not know this since Audrie is my photographer but in early 2021 she started her own media management company. Audrie and her team helps me with blog posts, newsletters and making images shoppable in the LTK app. They are the true heros behind The Recruiter Mom and I’m so thankful for the team!

This local food board company is just down the road from my house in Roanoke, TX. They make the most amazing food spreads for a quick grab and go to festive holiday boxes. I have been ordering and working with them for the past year and let’s just say that EVERYONE in the family loves it!
The founder of this small business is one of my sorority sisters from Texas Tech. We reconnected because we both use the amazing Audrie Dollins for photography and branding. When I first tried their after workout wipes I knew I had to share them with everyone I knew! Not only are they great for us moms after workout but even better for our stinky littles after a hard sports game or athletics.

I have loved this local Dallas brand for years and have purchased many of their items but just recently was able to partner with them for a holiday release. I’m happy to be able to share a discount code with you for 20% off your purchase with RECRUITER20.

If you have been around TRM for awhile you know that I have LONG time love for this brand. I started wearing it back when I worked in the corporate world and needed nice blouses under my busines suits.
When I moved into the blogging world I loved that they were one of the few brands that invested their marketing dollars in influencers that I loved. It was always my goal to have namesake pieces with Gibsonlook and this past year I have been able to launch TWO!
Today only use code JOY25 for 25% off your purchase (excludes notch collar blazer)
This small business has so many amazing custom items but I keep coming back each year for their beautiful wood ornaments! They make amazing gifts plus I use them for gift tags. This weekend grab them 50% off and check out their new styles.
This is another local business I was introduced to this year and instantly fell in love! This duo of moms took their corporate career knowledge and makes the most amazing ready to gift packages. I have used these as beginning of the year teacher gifts, birthday gifts and this holiday season we ordered all of my husband’s work presents from them.
