Holiday Shoes 2020 style

My holiday shoe game is starting to look a little different this year as much as I love pulling out my heels for holiday events, this year we are doing a lot more at home. While that doesn’t mean I’ve packed away all the glam I am going to break down which shoes I’m loving this year for the holiday season.

The majority of shoes that I own come from Nordstrom.com because of their easy free shipping & returns because with shoes you just never know! Plus I’ve been a long time card holder so this is great time to rack up some Nordy Club points and use up any double point days before the end of the year.

COZY SLIPPERS

Caslon Celia Scuff Slipper (size up if in-between I wear a M for size 7)| Vuori Performance Joggers (tts, L)

This year I’ve totally added more slippers to my daily outfits, mainly because I work from home and it’s so nice to just slip on something cozy under my desk. These Caslon Slippers are fluffy and soft but don’t break the bank. Under $30 and they come in this cream but also an adorable pink and leopard prints as well.

For more of a splurge holiday gift the Ugg Ansley Water Resistant Slipper is my favorite that has a back to them and a non slip rubber sole so there are tons of times I end up wearing these ALL DAY!

FANCY SNEAKERS

Steve Madden Blade Platform Sneaker (true to size)

This year I knew that I would have less events to get all dressed up for but still wanted a shoe that felt festive and cute. Although I’ve heard P448 and Golden Goose are amazing I wanted something comfortable and around that $100 price.

These from Steve Madden are too fun! They have a studded rhinestone that is even more bling in person than you can see in pictures and they are very comfortable. Now if I was putting a more expensive sneaker on my list I would check out these P448 or and these Zadig & Voltaire Sneakers.

FUN PUMPS

Hazel Genuine Calf Hair Pointed Toe Pump (true to size) |Wit & Wisdom Ab-Solution Distressed High Waist Ankle Jeans (size down if in-between, 12)

Now you can take away the holiday parties but guess what I still love a fun pump. My go to heel are the Sam Edelman Hazel Pumps. When I say that I have this style in like 5 colors it’s no lie (actually it might be a lie I think I have more)!

I love these because after years of trying pumps by all retailers these are comfortable come in tons of prints and colors and are reasonably priced. This calf hair style I have in both the leopard and tiger but if you want something a little more festive check out the Green Ivy Leather.

BOOTIES

KUT from the Kloth Donna Button Fly Ankle Skinny Jeans (tts, 12)| Gradina Block Heel Bootie (size up 1/2)

From about September on I LOVE a great bootie! Give me a great pair of jeans, bootie and a sweater and it’s basically my fall uniform. These from Vince Camuto have the perfect taupe color but the Tortilla Suede is also a favorite. These do run a bit small so size up at least 1/2.

COLD WEATHER BOOTS

Halogen Cozy V-Neck Tunic Sweater (runs oversized, M) | Ugg Classic Femme Toggle Wedge Boot (size up if in-between) | Spanx Faux Leather Camo Leggings (size up prefer XLP)

Now living in Texas we don’t get much by cold winter days but it can get chilly where I want a cozy boot that I can wear outside while the kids play. The tall Uggs can be hard to get on and off so when I found this shorter version with a side toggle to get in a out with ease I knew I had to have them! I mostly wear with leggings and an oversized tunic sweater like this cozy Halogen one and I’m set.
