Last week I told you about some of my Summer Favorites under $30 and this Wednesday I’m telling you all my favorites for the beach and pool. Can anyone tell that summer is my favorite season?! I rounded up all the beach and pool items that make me happy and hopefully they do for you as well.
BODEN SWIM SUITS Yes I’m a size 10/12 I do not have a toned belly and I still like a 2 piece, so sue me (or stare whatever!) Boden is the only brand that I have found that makes a bikini bottom wide enough for my backside so that although I’m showing more belly I’m not also showing all the booty. Size down if in-between, I wear a 10. Use code V9H9 for 25% off full price items plus free shipping over $49.
BECCA CROCHET SWIMSUIT Now if I’m going with a one piece that makes me feel sexy yet covered on the beach it’s this one. I have had so many of you message me after buying this suit and say YES!!! It’s so forgiving and beautiful, I get compliments all the time. Now that’s a good swimsuit, it’s consistently been the least expensive here and here.
FUN BEACH HAT I know that that “saying” beach hats can be a little overkill but every time I look at my floppy Hello Sunshine one it makes me happy! Since it has a flexible brim it’s easy to pack and really keeps the sun out of my face. It’s under $20 and you can grab it with Prime shipping from Amazon.
SPIELSTABIL SAND TOYS This German company makes some of the best sand toys around! They do not fade, break and have a thick some what pliable plastic that makes them so easy to use even in hard Texas beach sand.
MESH BEACH BAG Yes this has been on a few of my lists but it’s worth mentioning yet again because it holds a ton and is great for sandy beach towels and toys. These are now BOGO 50% off so grab two or also pick up this awesome mesh clutch. The bag is regularly $7.99 and the clutch $3.99 so these would also make great girls weekend gifts for $10!
PUDDLE JUMPERS I know that these are not in replacement of keeping a diligent eye on young kids in the water but when I go to the pool with both kids I’m always throwing these on my 4 year old for the moments he feels like jumping in all of a sudden. Most designs are under $20 but click around for the best deal.
GIBSON ROMPER I know technically you can wear this anywhere but in the past 2 months I have pretty much worn one of these every time we went to the pool! It’s super soft easy to get on and off and now on SALE! Unfortunately sizes are going fast so this dress is the same material on sale and also makes a great pool/ beach/ coverup/ go to dinner option.
BIG JOE POOL CHAIR This chair is so cool it’s like a bean bag chair and pool float all in one. Because the water soaks into it you stay cool without being completely submerged. I have seen a version at Target for less as well at Costco (although ours were already sold out) but if you want quick and easy Amazon has them.
LIGHTWEIGHT HEAVY DUTY FOLDING CHAIR WITH SIDE TABLE Man that was long but you need to know these are not just any regular beach chair. These my husband got as a gift several years ago and they have a durable canvas fabric and light aluminum frame. They fold up so well for off-season storage but when you are using them a super sturdy side table and about a million (ok 6) pockets. It can hold up to 300 lbs for those bigger guys in your life.
I hope you are enjoying some family fun in the sun time but don’t forget your sunblock and always keep your eye on kiddos around water!
