Happy Fall! Well, at least that’s what the calendar says we are still waiting for the weather to also get on the same page here in Texas. From what I’m hearing though several of you are having some colder mornings and lots of fall outfits so this month I have rounded up tons of sweaters, dresses and other fun finds to kick off fall!
Sizing info: I am 5’5 and size 12/ L bottom and 36DD/ M/ 10 top. “tts” means true to size based on the given sizing chart, in Amazon I tend to size up if in-between.
Fit Tips: Cardigan size down, M // Cami size up for larger chest, L // Jeans tts 12 short // Booties size up 1/2
I have to start off with this cardigan that I shared last month but it I got it in the TOTAL wrong size. I knew that I would love it but now that I have the medium I was right! It’s super soft like bunny fur, good length and like th pockets. Now I’ve heard some people compare this to a barefoot dreams cardigan, it’s nothing like that sorry. It’s lighter weight and a different style fabric but it is soft and cute for the price!
Now I paired it with this amazon bag strap and scroll down under other stuff to hear more about my LOVE on that one.
Fit Tips: Sweater size down if in-between, M // Jeans tts, 12 short // Boots tts
I had a few of my blogger friends sing the praises of this turtleneck tunic and since the one I loved from LOFT last year is no where to be seen I grabbed this. I was pleasantly surprised that apricot was code for cream and the fabric was a good soft, thick material.
Now I’ll be 100% this is thicker than I feel like I need in TX, I’ll wear this in Dec- Jan but for those of you in colder climates grab it! I have it paired with some of my favorite stretchy jeggings that are perfect with tan boots because they are skinny but really move with you like a legging. My color is from about 2 years ago but American Eagle has 2 new colors available. Don’t be deterred buy the “low rise” this is a 9.5 in rise so closer to a mid rise.
Fit Tips: sweater size down, M // Jeans tts, 12
This sweater I originally grabbed because it looked cute and was on lightening deal but I grabbed the large and it was HUGE! I could tell though that I was going to like it so I snatched the orange for fall in a medium and it’s perfect! It has a slight ribbed texture, stretchy and soft. With the high/ low hem it covers the booty just enough making it cute with jeans and leggings.
Here is the khaki color in the large for sizing and color difference. Let’s just say “khaki” is code for off-white in this sweater.
Fit Tips: Sweater one size and I think it fits M- XL well // Jeans size down if in-between // Boots tts
My friend Brittany Parks Robertson showed this on her Amazon haul and loved the bat wing style it’s SOOO soft but can’t be tumble dried due to the 25% cashmere/ 5% wool blend. Super stretchy and the day I tried it on I never took ti off that day, it’s that good!
Fit Tips: Sweater size down if in-between, M // Jeans size down 1 full size, 10 // Booties size up 1/2
Stripe sweater that has the perfect length for a cute front tuck yes please! This one totally gives me Madewell vibes but for WAY less! It has a knit feel to it and has more cotton than the others so not as soft but just a pretty.
Fit Tips: blouse tts, 10 // pants tts, L // wedges tts
I loved the Lark & Ro dress I found last month so of course I had to try the blouse and y’all I love it even more! It comes in a ton of colors and the slight ruffle at the shoulder makes it perfect for work or zoom calls!
Fit tips: size up for larger chest in XL
If you saw my Fall Family picture outfit ideas and then you know one entire color scheme was inspired by this dress! I love the flow, color combos and that it’s cute with boots or heels.
Fit tips: V Neck dress size up if in-between, L // Cardigan tts, M // booties size up 1/2
If been on the hunt for a cute fall scarf and when I ran across this leopard print one I was hooked! I love the combo of grey, black and brown making it so versatile with outfits. Here it’s with a Amazon jersey dress and lightweight cardigan.
Fit Tips: Dress size up, L coffee color runs short // Boots tts
Fit Tips: Dress tts, L // Boots tts
So I’m the moron to tried this dress on back wards! So I did my IG video saying how much I hate the pearl snap in the front because it’s cheap looking and while that is still true it apparently goes in the back so a little less noticeable! I do like the burnt orange color (definitely not red) and the tiered flow to it. In the future though I might belt it to give a bit more shape.
Fit Tips: size up this runs small, L
This pullover is a lookalike to the popular LL Bean one but don’t be deceived it is definitely not as good of quality. I have both pullovers and crazy enough the maker of this one took my picture and used it on their listing, except the cream one I’m in is the LL Bean pullover.
Even with that frustration I do like this pullover, it’s lightweight than the LL Bean and for a fraction of the price it’s a good deal just don’t go in thinking it’s going tp be the same quality.
Fit Tips: tunic tts I’m in a M but would have preferred more oversized feel // Joggers tts, L // Leggings size down if in-between, M // Slip on Sneakers size up 1/2
This sand washed modal tunic finally came in and y’all it’s just as good as the joggers!! It’s a silky modal feeling but still lightweight. My only complaint is I went with a medium which fits fine but I would have preferred a bit more oversized feel so size up if you want that look.
Fit Tips: size up, L but is still tight around the hips
Many of you have mentioned needing a good jacket for rain so I grabbed this Amazon Essentials puffer jacket to see if it’s close to the quality of my Eddie Bauer jacket and y’all it’s close! It is lightweight and packs pretty small my only complaint is the hood gets a little weird looking but for about half the price it’s a good deal.
I keep buying boots so I needed more of these to keep my boots standing tall and organized!
If you are loving the show by The Home Edit on Netflix then you will love these! If you want to customize your labels DO NOT go to their website they try to change $3 per label. Instead I found these clear Avery labels I can print myself and customize for whatever I threw in our basket! This size label fist perfectly on my bin clips.
I’m starting to think about upcoming events and in November is my 13 year anniversary and I want to dress up! I’ve been on the hunt for a cute silver purse and this fold over clutch from The Drop is a perfect size. I can carry a phone, keys bit of makeup and of course a MASK! This also comes in Ivory and Black.
If you saw a few months ago I picked up some silicone rings and loved them so I decided to switch it up and try the skinny versions and I love these even more! They are great that I don’t catch my ring while working out or gardening and I don’t care if they get dirty they rise right off and a pack is like $13!
Fit Tips: size up 1/2
These slip on sneakers I have in black and wear all the time so I decided to pick up a more neutral color and I wear these even more now! They are stretchy, soft but still have a rubber sole so good for running errands. I wouldn’t say these are great workout shoes but more casual.
This super soft blanket scarf I picked up last year but it’s finally getting cold enough to think about scarves some mornings. This one has the perfect combo of reds/ tans and cream to coordinate with a ton of outfits. Don’t be decided by the name “pink-A” there is no pink in it!
