I’ve had many of you comment that white jeans scare you but I’m here to say they are amazing!! Even as a size 12 I understand that it can be a bit daunting to find a pair that is not going to show all my lumps and bumps, be slimming AND comfortable.
Luckily I just found some amazing white jeans at Nordstrom.com that fit amazing and can be styled for whatever you have going on from work, weekend and even vacation. While there are a lot of Good American jeans at Nordstrom I have found my best fit with the “good legs” style. Since I’ve been on the hunt for a white jean with a flare or straight leg I decided to try these and they are perfection.
I understand finding that perfect Goldilocks moment with jeans can be daunting which is why I like ordering from Nordstrom for free shipping and returns. Plus I can grab blouses, tops and accessories all in one online shopping trip. So let’s see how to style them!

This Gibsonlook blouse in a navy polka dot is great to dress up jeans. It has a high/ low hem so covering the booty or can be fully tucked for a polished look. I like a front tuck with a little blousing to cover my waistband. Since this blouse is cut for a more generous fit you can size down for more fitted look.
One thing I need to mention on these jeans is the fit! These are a higher 11″ rise with straight leg that is actually flattering. One thing that helped for my fit was cutting about 2 inches off the length. This gave me a length that is hitting right at my ankle allowing for that slight flare of the raw hem.
To cut my jeans I actually laid them under a pair that I love that had the length I desired. Cuffed the hem, then tried them on. At that point I figured out, yup that’s where I want them. Then took a pair of sharp scissors and snip, snip!
VACATION

While on vacation I love a great bag and loose fitting, light weight blouse for shopping and dinners. This Gibsonlook blouse has a great v-neck with ruffled collar. Unfortunately I grabbed the wrong size so this is an XL and I for sure need a L, just know it will be slightly shorter and not as deep of a v.

But let’s also talk about this adorable BAG!! I love that while I’m grabbing clothing Nordstrom has some of the most fun accessories. While I WOULD say I’m “Salty as a Beach” here are a few more that I LOVE!
LUNCH DATE

One of the reasons I love a great pair of white jeans in the spring is for a dressy casual look. Times when I’m meeting friends for lunch, headed to dinner with the family or have to go for a meeting pairing a pretty spring blouse with white jeans is my go to.
This 1. State blouse is on the shorter side but I like that for an easy untucked look (especially going to lunch) plus the ruffle sleeves and neckline are feminine and pretty.
Recently I have been diving deep into the Dolce Vita shoes because not only are they cute but super comfortable as well! I love this wedge version with 3 3/4 heel and 3/4 platform so high but not that too high feeling for me.
The braided leather comes in this multi color or 6 other colors. These would be great with spring dresses as well.
WEEKEND CASUAL

Let’s be real most weekends though we are dressed down! Some cute sneakers and a denim jacket is what I’m rolling in. Caslon makes some great staple tanks that are a thicker material so even the white is not see-through great for layering.
This denim jacket has quickly become a favorite with a slightly lighter wash but great distressed details. Online though it shows much darker than what I feel like it looks in person so don’t be deterred by the picture.
Now that my kids are older anytime I can get away with a smaller purse I do it! This one I purchased for Vegas but have grabbed a ton for a pop of color with my Golden Goose sneakers. It can hold my phone, a lip gloss, wallet, keys and a slim hand sanitizer in the front pocket.
I also have a similar version that has a bit more room in black that I brought on the cruise and it was a fantastic small crossbody for travel.
Now reading the reviews on Nordstrom’s website there were a few mentions that these jeans are see-through and honestly I would completely disagree! I feel like these have a great weight, don’t show pockets and still look great from the backside!
Hope this helps get over any of your white jean fears. I feel like they are a spring staple and I’m so happy I found a pair that fits well and I can wear for just about anything life throws at me!
