Love is in the AIR! Now while I know that not all weddings are the same I’ve found that for me grabbing a dress that does SCREAM wedding gives me the most versatile option for the event and others. Also I’ve given it a lot of thought and while I’ve dreamed of being invited to Carrie and Mr. Big’s wedding in NYC I’ve honestly never been to a black tie wedding so I kinda have no reference for that.
I was married in TX hill country on a warmish November day. Most weddings I’ve attended in the spring always tend to be inside with an optional outdoor segment since you never know what spring weather can bring! Today I’ve rounded up a few options under $150 from some of my favorite places.
This dress from Express I love the wrap style because I can wear a regular bra plus the high/ low skirt is so flowy and fun. While I like these shoes I will say that I realized that a slide can be hard to move and dance in so I most likely would go with an ankle strap shoe for a wedding.

This Dress from Gibsonlook is one of my absolute favorites because it has a great shape that is flattering but not too constricting. The ruffle neck is not too high and I love the puff sleeve. This dress I would wear to a wedding, Mother’s Day lunch or graduation and it can easily be dressed up or down. Use code RYANNE10 for 10% off.

One of my other favorite places for event dresses is Nordstrom. I’ve always had great luck with Maggie London and Eliza J brands because they fit my curves while being well made and in fun colors. This season I’m LOVING all the pink and this faux wrap style totally jumped out at me. This has wide enough shoulders for a regular bra and I really like these Spanx shaping undies for smoothing the belly.

While I thought that this Express dress would be too stiff it’s actually the perfect amount of structure and flow for a wedding. I did not feel constricted sitting down and the spaghetti straps are adjustable. This one is fully lined and a great length being 5’5.

This Walmart dress is not only under $150, it’s under $35!! I love the layers of ruffles without being too overwhelming. Plus the soft pastels are perfect for a spring wedding. I also found a few other dresses from Walmart that I loved but not sure if all of them would be dressy enough for a wedding.

Now as much as I love finding adorable dresses I also love a fun bag, shoes and earrings! Here are some of my favorites to pair with many of these dresses.
