Barefoot Dream Circle Cardigan– This is a long time must buy during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because while it’s fairly easy to find other styles go on deep discount later in the season this classic circle shape typically does not especially in classic colors they have had for years like the carbon and pewter. My first cardigan is in the carbon color and I’ve had it I think 5 years? So this year I picked up a new color but if you are getting your first I would recommend the carbon it’s great! True to size but does run tight in the arms, M
Gibson Notch Collar Cotton Blend Blazer– If you haven’t guessed it by now I have a major love for this stretchy knit blazer. Even if you don’t work outside of the home this blazer is a closet staple. Even when the world went into shut down mode and EVERYTHING went on sale I still didn’t see the classic colors like black and white go this much on sale so IMO this is a Best Buy. True to size, M
Caslon Open Front Cardigan– (in beige oatmeal stripe) Of all the cardigan choices I’m putting the Caslon on my Best Buy list because currently it is 42% off. Why does that matter? Well Nordstrom has a tendency to mark down in 40% and then 60% so even if this stripe restocks after the sale it will most likely go to 40% off for fall markdowns and then the left over sizes and undesirable colors (hello red and green stripe I’m talking to you) will go to 60% later. This cardigan is a soft and thick as the Madewell at a better price and the length is perfect on my 5’5 height. True to size, M
Gibson Cozy Tunic– This one made it onto my Best Buy list for it’s versatility and 41% off price. I’ve been working with Gibson for a while and it’s common for end of season markdown to happen on their seasonal collections but you know what normally stays full price? The COZY collection! This cozy v-neck tunic is a classic style that’s great with leggings, jeans or the Skye joggers to make a set is a great buy and worth picking up during the sale. True to size, M
Wit & Wisdom Ab-Solution Ankle Jeans– Now this style of jean has not arrived yet, BUT I get the “distressed” style of Wit & Wisdom every sale and I am NEVER disappointed. I end up wearing these nearly 60% of the time so in my book for wear/ cost ratio they are a great buy. This year I did find that the skinny jeans were running more true to size so if in doubt I would go with your normal size. True to size 12R
KUT from the Kloth Diana Fab Ab Skinny Jeans– I was debating on adding these because they are under my typical 40% off threshold BUT these are a classic dark wash jean that has slimming panels and fits like a DREAM! The only reason you haven’t seen me in more outfits with these is because they ran REALLY long so I’m reordering these in a petite. True to size but run long
Gibson Surplice Blouson Sleeve Wrap Top– This top was a surprise hit for me. Although I knew that the Gibson Cozy material was going to be soft I had no idea on how flattering this fit would be! With a stitch at the v this top will not fall open, it has a great drape and a little puff to the sleeve. Since the sleeves also have elastic they can be pushed up and they stay (hello Thanksgiving cooking) overall it’s such a versatile top while still being comfy AKA 2020 approved! True to size, M
Marc Fisher Oshay Pointed Toe Bootie– Now to be honest I did not buy these, shoot I didn’t even try them on because I have 2 classic cognac booties that are very similar that I love BUT these are a great buy. They are 47% off vs the Vince Camuto bootie being 33% off. The only downside is these are a blogger popular item so they will start to sell out especially in the cloud suede and cognac suede but as of now I’m seeing all sizes stocked. Bobbi Brown Easy Essentials Eye, Cheek & Lip Set– This is another on order but has not arrived yet items but I always look for great small sets that have a ton of classic colors for travel. This year Bobbi Brown has it and it includes one of my favorite lip glosses and mascara. Honestly I would have grabbed it just for another mini size of Bellini lip gloss! Coming out at 68% off the total value of items its one of my few beauty must haves.
Tory Burch Carson Leather Tote– I feel like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the perfect time to grab high end staple items and for me that means Tory Burch tote. This one comes in 2 classic colors and is 43% off which makes it a Best Buy in my books. NOW I did not buy this, why? Because I have a TB in this color and a Louis Vuitton that I love so I didn’t need another high end tote but you might be in the market to I added it.
GHD Curve® Classic 1 1/4-Inch Curl Iron– If you saw my hair post then you know I am a die hard for this curling iron, I think it is the best around and this is the ABSOLUTE cheapest I have seen this thing. Normally the best you can do is Sephora sale 20%-15% off and this curling iron is currently 33% off. I don’t see this going out of stock but I also don’t foresee this going on sale come fall clearance.
Thinstincts® Mid Thigh Shaper Shorts– Although I have seen these go on major sale on the Spanx website (50% off) that was once in the past year and they have a new 2.0 style that frankly is not as good! These are lightweight, slimming but not constricting must have Spanx. Get them when they are 50% off here and you will be happy! True to size, L
True Body Triangle Convertible Strap Bralette– yes Target has a similar version for a few dollars less but the convertible factor of this super soft wireless bralette makes it a Best Buy. In general True & Co does limited sales typically about 20% and many times I see this excluded so at 34% off during this sale is a great time to grab these.
Caslon Rounded V-Neck T-Shirt– Let’s be honest yes these will go on sale later but will they be 48% off, I don’t know and I LOVE these lightweight layering tees! They are great under cardigans and on their own while it is still hot outside. I have owned so many colors and prints but this year I grabbed leopard, Burgundy and navy and shoot for $13 I might get more! Size down if in-between, M

The Perfect Black Pant Back Seam Skinny Pants– While I love these slimming super stretchy ponte pant I would maybe wait. Unless you are a die hard Spanx person there are quite a few good Ponte work pants out there like Betabrand and Chicos that are less expensive even on sale. True to size, L
Wit & Wisdom Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans– Honestly I have seen these go on and off sale several items. Although it’s a style that has been around for awhile it’s not the #1 so you can see these on seasonal sale pretty regularly. Also Amazon has the democracy brand (sister company) that has a very similar bootcut style that I’ve found some jeans for as low as $20. Size down in the W&W I wear a 10R
Caslon Drape Collar Knit Blazer– As much as I LOVE this knit blazer I have seen it on sale a ton (even in colors listed now) so if you can wait this might drop again for fall clearance but just know it may not be the color you want, last year only about 4 went on sale and the best stayed full price.
Glenda Waterproof Sneaker Bootie– Now if you saw my try ons these camo wedge sneakers are a MUST have for me this season BUT.. there is a very similar style available on sale at DSW and if you have maybe some additional coupons or rewards you could get them down to the Anniversary price.
