5 Fall Staples under $50

Happy What I’m Loving Wednesday!

Last week I shared that I’m loving all things fall and showed you how I was decorating the house for this season. This week I’ve totally been in the fall mood as I look at all the new items coming into stores and decided to share with you my fall staple items. Here’s the kicker I have 5 and they are all under $50!

1. Quilted Vest

Classic fall look- puffer vest, buffalo plaid, and red hunter boots

When it comes to fall in TX I need lightweight layers for those times when the mornings start to cool down but it still can get into the 80s mid-day. That is why I ABSOLUTELY love a lightweight puffer vest.

This season I told myself “Ryanne, you don’t need another vest!” Then I saw this golden color at Old Navy and you guessed it I grabbed it up! Last year I was in love with the ones at J.Crew Factory but this year they really didn’t do any great colors and the price at Old Navy is awesome. These are regularly $34.99 but you can use code SWEET to get 20% off or use your Old Navy Cash through 9/15.

I might have a little bit of a problem…

2. Plaid Shirt

Another staple for fall is a lightweight plaid flannel shirt, I swear the second I see plaid (especially buffalo plaid) I’m looking for pumpkins! This rust colored plaid as well as the black and white plaid are both from Target and normal $19.99 but are on sale right now for only $15!!

Plaid shirts are great because they can be styled in so many different ways for fall from early fall with sleeves rolled up to later fall layered under a cardigan. This one I really like because it has that oversized boyfriend feel and now that it has gone back on sale it’s under $50!

3. Pull-on Jeans

Now when fall comes around I start to think sweatshirts and tunics and if I’m getting a long shirt then I FOR SURE want some comfy stretchy jeans. Last year I picked up these Old Navy Rockstar pull-on jeggings and I was smitten. Old Navy has so many washes you can find about any color you need.

I am in-between a wide calf and regular calf boot so having these skinny jeggings make such a difference while wearing boots during the fall. Now I will say that this year I fell in love with the Spanx pull-on jegging that has some light distressing but unfortunately those are over $50!

4. Pretty Cami

My next have item for fall might be a surprise because normally I don’t think cami and fall but let’s be real I layer ALL THE TIME in fall. Under jackets, cardigans, plaid shirts and I always want to have a pretty cami that is not too clingy, lightweight and a little v-neck action.

This year I have fallen hard for the lace cami from Abercrombie & Fitch and ended up grabbing it in about 4 colors. Although it’s starting to go on clearance and I’m not seeing a ton of sizes available. Good thing I found this new Target cami in a great sandwich material and rust color. It has adjustable straps and perfectly flowy and soft.

5. Slip On Shoes

Shoreline white converse | Olive (steel grey) Blowfish Slip-on shoes | Navy shoreline converse | Camo Blowfish

During the fall it’s time for football, pumpkin patches, trick or treating and cooking Thanksgiving so as much as I love a great pair of booties so many times I’m grabbing a pair of slip on sneakers. I LOVE my converse shoreline since they have the stretchy back but recently I found these blowfish sneakers with elastic laces and I love them too!

Both styles are under $50 (well the converse are exactly $50) and they come in a TON of colors for any fall outfit you are loving.

Great staples for fall- slip on shoes in camo!

I would love to know exactly what brown suede boots those are – not the ones you linked to that are similar but the ones you’re wearing in the pic with the lace cami and plaid shirt. Thanks!
